AFFIRMATIONS

The Scriptural Authority

We affirm the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

The Trinity

We affirm that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Christology

We affirm the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ: in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious atonement through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal and visible return in power and glory.

The Fall & Human Nature

We affirm that man was created in the image of God, but through the temptation of Satan, he fell into sin. As a result, all humans inherit a sinful nature and are separated from God. This condition affects every part of human nature.

Salvation

We affirm that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is only by God’s grace, not by any human works or merit, that we are saved. This salvation is accomplished by the atoning work of Christ, who bore our sins in His body on the cross.

Ministry of the Holy Spirit

We affirm the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and by whom the Church is empowered to carry out Christ’s Great Commission.

The Sanctity of Marriage:

We affirm that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God, defined as a lifelong union between a biological man and a woman. This union is designed to be exclusive and reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church. Within this sacred covenant, the husband is ordained as the head of the household, tasked with loving leadership, protection, and spiritual guidance, mirroring Christ's relationship with the Church. The wife, in turn, supports and respects her husband, creating a partnership that honors God’s design for marriage. Marriage is the appropriate context for sexual relations, procreation, and the nurturing of family. Any sexual activity outside this covenant is considered sinful and contrary to God’s design.
